Plans to cover 80% of the open space at the North-West corner of Yonge and Eglinton with 3 floors of retail and movie theatres were soundly denounced at an open house hosted by Counc. Karen Stintz on Tuesday, Feb 2nd.

Those who attended overwhelmingly supported a presentation by architect Andre Leroux, a vice president of SPRA. He compared the site to Rockefeller Plaza - almost identical size and privately owned.
